The Advantages of AHN
Asante Health Network offers an attractive and flexible value proposition to our participating providers.
Clinical Quality Initiatives
Asante Health Network providers are encouraged to collaborate on specialty-specific clinical initiatives. All such initiatives are led by AHN physicians and include the opportunity to earn payment linked to quality outcomes.
Participation in AHN’s Payer Contracts
AHN providers are eligible to participate in all AHN Medicare and commercial payer contracts. These contracts are designed to align with quality improvement and cost reduction metrics and outcomes. Value-based payment mechanisms are linked to outcome performance.
In-Network Referral Status on the Asante Epic System
Providers meeting AHN participation criteria are designated as “in-network” for referrals ordered on Asante’s medical record system (Epic). This supports AHN’s mission of fostering a high-performing provider network focused on quality improvement.
Preferred Network Status with Asante’s Employee Health Plan
Over 10,000 people in the Rogue Valley have health insurance through employers that participate in AHNPlus. This includes Asante’s employee health benefit plan. These patients enjoy lower copays, deductibles and other out-of-pocket costs when using AHN providers and facilities. This supports the mission of AHN as a high-performing quality network.
Interested in the Epic EMR System?
AHN provider groups interested in evaluating a transition to the Epic electronic medical record system are eligible to receive transition support from Asante along with deeply discounted pricing.
“Participation in the Asante Health Network has opened up new opportunities to shape the direction of health care in Southern Oregon and beyond. I’m excited about the progress we’re making to engage with physicians on improving quality and lowering costs.”
