Payer Agreements

Innovative Models of Collaboration

Asante Health Network is actively involved in partnering with national and regional payers to advance innovative models of collaboration that align with our mission of lowering the cost of medical care and improving the health and well-being of people living and working in Southern Oregon.

A guiding principle of collaboration with our payer partners is a belief that provider networks can and should seek out like-minded payers that are committed to working with providers to bring positive value to the communities we serve.

This is accomplished through a common vision, shared leadership and close coordination of each organization’s core competencies and resources. The payment mechanisms underlying these relationships serve to augment the traditional fee-for-service payment arrangements by linking provider payments to achieving positive quality, cost and patient experience outcomes.

Often referred to as “value-based” payment arrangements, they are becoming a prominent and essential part of how the government and private payers are working with providers to improve health and lower costs.

Asante Health Network welcomes inquiries from payers and providers on opportunities to partner with us in advancing value-based collaboration, payment and risk-sharing arrangements.
